The Finnish Newspapers Association is a trade association for newspaper and city newspaper publishers. It is a member of Finnmedia, which safeguards the common interests of the media industry.
The association's task is to strengthen the social significance and vitality of multichannel-based newpspaper media and its position as a leading media for advertisers and readers, as well as its position in people's daily life.
The association publishes the Suomen Lehdistö periodical, which distributes branch-specific information and appears eight times a year.
The Finnish Newspapers Association guards the interests of the field in cooperation with Finnmedia.

Finnish Newspapers Association has 122 members. The member organisations consist of newspaper and city newspaper publishers, groups of companies, distribution companies, news and photo agencies, marketing companies and printing works.
